This listing is for a print of my vintage sewing thread collection watercolour illustration. As an avid sewist, I have a lot of thread, both new and vintage. I do use some of the vintage spools, but most of it is just for display since it may not be as strong, and they are just so pretty! I do collect antique sewing notions, but thought I should choose just one for this piece, to keep the collection clear. There are SO many types of thread, spool sizes, styles and colours, the choices were endless. I painted several of my own, and some I’d love to have! This was a fun one, and I hope you like it :) It has a subtle, cream coloured canvas/linen looking texture in the background, so it’s not stark white.
Handpainted in watercolour with love, then proudly printed locally in Canada on high-quality, matte cardstock at the size of your choice, and signed by Alicia Bint (myself), the artist :) A frame is not included, it’s just pictured to show context.
