This organic, graceful, boho styled elopement portrays sweet, young love among the airy forest and rushing waterfalls. I wanted to show that an outdoor elopement can have the traditional elements of a large-scale event but in an ultra-intimate setting with dining, a cake, sweets table and a cocktail stand. The many charming details are mirrored throughout each scene and connect with each other seamlessly to bring this sweet fairytale story to life. A unique aspect about this shoot is the lovely video captured by Cineluxe Wedding films that brought this story to life. 

Late summer evenings hint at the coming autumn weather and the beginnings of a bountiful harvest. It’s a last chance to dine alfresco and start to taste fresh goodness from the garden. For a couple invested in family and a small heritage farm (complete with bunnies), a wedding is the perfect opportunity to host those they love for an intimate outdoor dinner in celebration of their marriage.

Romantic Vintage Wedding Inspiration from Sue Gallo Designs

Today’s vintage wedding inspiration shoot, brimming with romantic Edwardian details, was created by a super creative team of wedding pros who believe that inspiration for your wedding can come from anywhere. Theirs just happened to be found within a beautiful old historic country estate.

The warm tones of fall pair beautifully with this sweeter than sweet peach sorbet elopement at The Market at Grelen in Somerset, Virginia. The garden location was the picturesque backdrop for this elegant shoot from Amanda Landon Weddings and featured garden florals and peachy hued decor throughout with accents of gold.

Dillion’s Small Batch Distillery in Beamsville, Ontario, Canada provided the perfect backdrop for today’s industrial wedding editorial, designed beautifully by Shaw Events & Sue Gallo Designs. Hoping to capture the youthful and fun-loving personalities of their real couple, Megan + Keela, the team (which also included photographer, Ally Kristensen, Hair by Rio, Sakura June Artistry, Alicia’s Infinity + more) incorporated vibrant blooms, fun design elements, and killer cocktails into the setting.

A beautiful gemstone, aquamarine provided the inspiration behind this style shoot. From the light blue of the sky to the deep blue in the ocean, aquamarine is known for its range of blue hues, sometimes even with a faint greenish shimmer. However, we were inspired to reflect a pure clear blue. With exposed brick walls and wood floors bringing a natural raw charm, the vision was to create a dreamy and romantic setting by infusing the space with aquamarine, soft peach, pale blush, greens and white.

Our photographer Ally Kristensen, was completely inspired by the victorian western era and wanted to bring to life a vision of traveling brides on route to meet their new grooms in the west. Sounds kinda crazy I know, but we all fell in love with this twist on victorian steam punk/victorian western and had so much fun bringing Ally’s vision to life. Its romantic, organic and full of wonderful details.
