This fictional villagescape watercolour painting is an Italy-inspired scene, with lots of little details to enjoy! There are several architectural styles throughout this stunning country, but I am particularly drawn to the green rolling Tuscan hills, warm and textured golden stone and stucco buildings, cobblestone streets, and quaint details! I actually spent 6 weeks in Italy after graduating from Sheridan College, and as a 20-year-old, that was the most “grown-up” adventure I had embarked upon. It was a pivotal trip, and certainly sparked my love for Europe! I am excited to celebrate all of the beauty and charm of its quaint villages in this series - I plan to take inspiration from 12 different countries in Europe that I’ve either travelled to or would love to visit!
