My name is Alicia Bint, and it's nice to meet you! I’ve been a creative enthusiast since I was a little girl. I could always be found drawing, making crafts or dressing and accessorizing my Barbie dolls. Both as a profession and a hobby, I’m an artist. Graduating from Sheridan’s Institute of Animation, Arts, and Design in 2006, I earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree in Illustration. Since then I’ve worked in many areas of the creative industry, from illustration and graphic design to jewellery (both designing and hand-making). I currently work from my personal studio just outside of Toronto, Ontario.

 

As an illustrator, I work primarily with watercolour and pencil. My focus is on fashion illustration. I also have experience in book, editorial and advertising illustration. In fact, my work has been featured in the "Big Book of Contemporary Illustration" (page 340).

 

As a jewellery designer, all of my pieces are one-of-a-kind, handcrafted and made with love :) I’m inspired by my surroundings; from the elements of nature and antique treasures to fashion forward designs and patterns. My goal is to create unique jewellery and accessories that will make you feel beautiful and special, and are versatile enough to go with all types of occasions and outfits in your wardrobe!

 

As an artist, I’m open to any creative ideas that come my way (maybe a mural on your wall or hand-made fabric flowers to add to your wedding dress!). If you have any custom inquiries, please don’t hesitate to ask!
